Parlays and Progressive Parlays.

When wagering is done on two or more than two teams simultaneously without any particular order where the selections are required to win for accomplishing the victory at wager is known as parlays. There are following rules for better understanding of the parlays:

• When there is a tie or no action in a game, then the parlay returns back to the next lowest number towards ensuring the payout. A parlay over two teams reverts towards the straight wager.

• Parlays that are incorporating the European prices or money lines are paid out depending upon the odds selected by the individuals.

• Betting on the connected events on the similar parlay card cannot take place. For example, one parlay leg is for Sampras for beating Henman during the fourth round of a match in Wimbledon and an additional section of the parlay is for Sampras for winning the overall title of Wimbledon. The match signifies the part of the overall Wimbledon tournament and hence, it is connected. Similarly, parlaying between the two halves of the football matches on each other cannot be undertaken, as both the halves are interconnected to each other.

• Your payout odds will get increased with the placement of a parlay bet. For example, if you are wishing to place the bet on Canucks for beating the Wings along with betting on the Canucks for beating the Avalanche, but the odds are coming in the form of even money. You want better odds as you are absolutely sure that Canucks will be winning both the events. Your odds will get increased to 13:5 if you place a parlay bet on the two games.

• Correlated Parlay Bets are also available here. There may be certain events the result of which can be considered as correlated. For example, while you bet on a college football match on a huge underdog and the under, the betting in the game will be regarded as statistically correlated. If the players are consistently betting on the correlated parlays, then the rights of regarding the wagers remains with the management only. The splitting will take place between the wagers for letting the half of the stake go to the pointspread with remaining half moving on the under in the game.

• On the other hand, the progressive parlays can be regarded as a wager on the 4 to 12 events for winning. Here, players can still win their wager, even when they lose some of the events from their progressive parlay. Point Spread is the only thing where the progressive parlays can get accepted, instead of the totals and money line. Here are following rules for the progressive parlays:

• For any particular event, a tie or no action in the game is considered as a loss.

• The parlay comes back to the upcoming lowest number for payout, if there seems a loss.

•Like in the case of the parlays, here also you cannot bet on the connected events.
